A fun fact to kick us off. Nintendo owns the three highest-grossing gaming franchises of all time. One of which is Mario, another is Pokemon and the third is none other than the Legend of Zelda. This success is undoubtedly down to the incredible longevity that the series has enjoyed since its introduction in 1986. However, the success is also down to the sheer quality and variety that the series has been able to offer over the years. Providing handheld bliss and open-world wonder in equal measure.
For all these reasons and more, we decided to create Legend of Z, a Legend of Zelda encyclopedia covering all the games from back in the late eighties, right up until the more modern classics like Breath of the wild. We have enjoyed every adventure through Hyrule as much as the last, beaten Ganon at every turn and now, we want to be a resource for you so that you can succeed too. It’s dangerous to go alone, so we will be with you every step of the way.
Our team has collectively played every single LoZ property from the main titles, to the spin-offs, and even mastered how to play link in Super Smash for good measure! Our team have played thousands of hours conquering Hyrule and putting Ganon in his place. They have countless pieces of LoZ merch lying around, have every Nintendo console Link has ever featured on, and thanks to this level of passion, they each deserve their place on the Legends of Z team!
Our Goal
Our goal here at Legend of Z is to do everything in our power to make sure that you have the most fun possible while controlling Link on his various adventures. We know how tough and overwhelming these games can be if you have never played anything like LoZ before, which is why we aim to offer a comprehensive overview of every adventure, allowing you to solve every puzzle, find every Rupee and uncover every secret that this series has to offer.
Our goal is to be the be the most complete LoZ blog on the web, offering an encyclopedia of content relating to the retro LoZ titles, all the main titles, the spin-offs and just about anything else that has a tri-force logo on it. However, we also aim to be a blog that keeps up to date with all things LoZ and keeps you informed with any announcements, speculation and breaking news regarding this long-running franchise!
Not only that, but we also aim to be a social hub for all you Zelda fans out there. We want to provide a place to chat, a place to discuss fan theories, a place to rant and rave about how annoying the Water Temple was. So if you do find yourself here, stick around for a while and engage with our wealth of content.
What We Offer
We offer a variety of different types of content here at Legend of Z. Primarily, we will offer a lot of guide content, allowing you to work your way through every game in as stress-free of a manner as possible. We will offer extensive walkthroughs for each game, quest guides, character bios, location guides, guides on how to use the various mechanics within each game and we will also offer hints and tips on how to succeed in each specific game.
We offer so much content here for passionate Zelda fans to sink their Master Swords into! We have game overviews, game guides, location guides, quest guides, comparison articles, game reviews, and so much more! Plus, we can guarantee something that most general gaming sites cannot offer. No matter what the topic, we will always have a dedicated Zelda fan writing our content, meaning every piece will have an expert voice behind it!Â
Then we will also offer more opinion-based content where our writers and certified Zelda nerds will fight their corner on which game is the best of all time, which characters are the best within the series, which locations are the most picturesque, which quests and boss battles made them rip their hair out and they might finally end the debate on whether Navi is an annoyance or a helpful companion. Who knows?
How We Operate
We believe that if you have the right people pulling in the same direction, you can’t go far wrong. Thankfully here at Legend of Z, we have one of the best teams around. Our team of writers double as LoZ experts and have been playing games within the series from the moment they had the motor skills to do so. They have Sailed through Windwaker, battled through the gritty areas of Twilight Princess and they’ve come out the other end to explore the incredible open world of BOTW. So we believe we have the best people for the job.
Then we also have a dedicated team of editors who make the articles look pretty, make sure they are correct and authentic and then push them out into the open for you to scroll through and enjoy.
Then we also have you guys too. You are what makes this site so great. Through your continued feedback and support, we continue to grow and thrive. So if you have something in mind that we could do better, be sure to let us know.
